Country House In Moscow

Three structural elements, each different in form and consisting of copper, wood and stone, have been fitted together to make up a two-storey residential house complete with swimming pool, spacious living room and an accessible roof.

The architect’s main concern was to create a house, which reveals little of its interior yet remains open to its natural surroundings, to sun and air. Sunlight comes in through a large window above a pent roof, through the glass ceiling over the swimming pool and through the glazed access to the roof.
