The entrances to the stadium are located at each of the arena’s four rounded corners which, with their steel and glass roof construction and pitched canopy on the long sides, lend the stadium the appearance of an oyster.

The roof construction is supported by steel cables, which are connected to an axial strut attached to two L-shaped supports fastened to the exterior. The roof rests on the stadium like a raised cloth, without casting shadows or darkening the interior.
