Triumf Palace
The 270 meters tall skyscraper was built to accommodate an increase in moneyed residents in an area close to Aeroport Shopping Centre. Some speak of neo Stalinism seeing the thousand-unit apartment complex, a posthumously completed addition to the seven Stalinist high-rise buildings marking the inner-city ring. However, only in its shape Europe’s largest residential building seems like the eighth Stanilist symbol of power, its interior meets modern comforts. With its flush white balconies and ornamentation, it reminds of the American high-rise buildings of the last century.
